Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year programme where the students are taught about the application of electromagnetism, electronics, and electricity. It is a part of the Engineering field of study. A wide range of topics is taught to the students pursuing a diploma in electrical engineering such as telecommunications, signal processing, control systems, electronics, and power. Today the market is beaming with opportunities for an electrical engineer, as electricity has become an indispensable part of human lives.
To be able to apply for admission into the diploma in the electrical engineering programme, the applicants have to fulfil the given set of eligibility criteria –
Must have passed their class Xth exam from a recognised Board
Must have studied Mathematics and Science subjects compulsorily at the qualifying level
Students having passed an examination equivalent to the class Xth exam of a recognised Board are also eligible to apply for the Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme
