Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year programme where the students are taught about the application of electromagnetism, electronics, and electricity. It is a part of the Engineering field of study. (Vocational) examination of WBSCT&VE&SD / equivalent Examination with Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology/Biology/ Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.

Passed 10th + 2 years ITI (continuous), in annual system or semester system (Appearing ITI candidates are not eligible).

For Jexpo – Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.
